Hot Stones Foot Reflexology and IonicDetox Foot Spa

Reflexology teaches that a vital energy or life force, also known as “chi” circulates between the organs of the body, permeating every living cell and tissue. If this energy becomes blocked, the part of the body relating to the blockage is affected. Energy blocks in the human body are reflected on the hands and feet in one or more of the zones located there. By using specific pressure techniques, they can be detected through the experience of pain, or through the presence of “gritty areas”, often referred to as crystal deposits. These occur in the foot or hand that relates to the part of the body that is imbalanced. The pressure and massage techniques taught in reflexology are designed to dissipate energy blocks, and break down crystalline structure. Through stimulation of the circulatory and lymphatic systems, and by encouraging the release of toxins, reflexology promotes the body to heal itself.

The Percussion..."Add-On"

The Percussion Massage is designed to work in correlation with the IonicBalance Detox Foot Spa. When administered just prior to the IonicBalance Detox Foot Spa, the percussion stimulates blood flow and helps loosen toxins in the tissues including the lymphatic system, thereby it may allow the IonicBalance Detox Foot Spa to be more effective than if done alone. It takes approximately fifteen minutes and also helps to relax you and soothe sore, tense muscles.

Consciously Resting Meditation (CRM)

What is Consciously Resting Meditation?

Consciously Resting Meditation (CRM) is practiced sitting quietly with one’s eyes closed until the body becomes motionless and the mind ceases to chase thoughts. At this point the body and mind naturally begin the process of obtaining clarity and purity──the ultimate goal of CRM.

How does it work?

The technique of consciously resting teaches you to focus on specific sounds and allows you to relax while your mind has a chance to calm down. This meditation technique has been used in practices for thousands of years. CRM is positive, rejuvenating, and relaxing for both the mind and body.

Where do I practice CRM?

You can practice CRM anywhere. The most effective place would be in the quietest spot in your home, office or dorm.

When should I practice consciously resting?

It is recommended that you consciously rest twice a day: twenty minutes first thing in the morning and twenty minutes in the early evening (between 5 p.m.- 8 p.m.). This will depend on your schedule. If you work the graveyard shift, your first meditation may be at 10 p.m. and your second meditation around 4 a.m. If you don’t have twenty minutes, use the time you have available. Any time that you have to devote to CRM will be beneficial.

What is pure consciousness?

By definition, pure consciousness is “thoughtlessness,” yet you are still awake and aware. No thoughts, noise, problems, pain, etc. However, you cannot force this experience to happen. If your constantly thinking “Am I relaxing?”, then chances are you’re probably not, and you won’t be getting the full benefits from CRM.

What can I expect to experience while practicing CRM?

No two meditations are ever the same. It is best not to have preconceived expectations. Just take it as it comes and enjoy the experience.
