Candy Lewis Williams, ND. NDM, MH, CT, founder of The Lotus Concept, began her career over 35 years ago as a business owner in the wellness, salon and spa industry.
As a Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor, Doctor of Naturopathic Ministries, Master Herbalist, and Board Certified Trichologist her goal is to make a difference in the overall health of her clients through the use of functional medicine, complementary, alternative health programs and therapies to educate on connecting beauty with wellness.
Her expertise has taken her abroad to Japan and Argentina lecturing on the subjects of naturopathy, trichology, clinical aromatherapy, and salon education. Nationally, she has appeared on the Dr. Oz Show as is a leading expert in hair loss solutions, alternative and complementary medicine for his show. Also, she conducts seminars for groups such as the International Association of Trichology (IAT). Dr. Candy is a board member, lead facilitator, course, and curriculum developer for The US Trichology Institute (USTI). She has a practice in both Santa Clara, California and Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Candy advocates prayer and a belief that proper nutrition and lifestyle adjustments can lead to healing and full restoration while promoting healthy aging.
Dr. Candy has received recognition as the Better Business Bureau’s, Women in Business Networking’s Top 25 Business Women to Watch. She was the recipient of Believer’s Christian Fellowship Church Phenomenal Woman Award. She's served as an international missionary to South Africa, Mozambique, and Honduras. Nationally she provides missionary and volunteer services to bring wholeness to men, women, and children entangled in the trappings of sex trafficking.
Dr. Candy is a chaplain and community volunteer with "Canines 4 Christ" a national as well as an international faith-based crisis first response and animal-assisted therapy ministry. She serves with her dog "Penny," a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Candy is a devoted wife to Dr. Phillip D. Williams and proud mother of two sons, their wives and a grandmother of six. She enjoys the beach, cycling, kayaking, and organic herb gardening.
