The lotus flower starts as a small bud at the bottom of a pond in approximately two feet of mud and muck. Its root is in the dirtiest waters but produces the most beautiful flower.
It slowly grows towards the water’s surface continually moving towards light. Once it reaches the surface the lotus flower emerges and begins to open or blossom.
The characteristics of the lotus are a perfect analogy for human health and restoration.
